P&H “Omega” mechanical failure

A 7,000 pound load was on the hook and the chart capacity was 13,000 pounds. The crane was a bare rent unit from the local dealer and had been overloaded on previous occasions. An identical crane on the site was immediately inspected and no damage was evident until a testing lab was brought in.
